almost a centurion

She lives 2 doors away from mine.
She lives alone.
Her dentures gave her a great smile. Unfortunately, not strong enough to chew sweet apples, so she gave them to me.
She waters her orchids twice a day without fail. Her orchids, her pride. She is going for a long holiday next week and I offered to water her orchids. Her eyes literally lit up, as if someone gonna take care of her precious babies, and she promised curry chicken when she returns.

She seldom take dinner, I teased her jaga badan, tho she looks exactly like a regular granny.
She is 97 years old, and very fit for her age.
But yesterday, she told me she got joint-muscular pain.

So I went to work the next day and brought home some pain relief gel.

‘Popo!’
The house was quite dim. It was past 7pm already, but the porch lights have yet to be switched on.
Then I saw Popo’s shadow in the house
‘Who?’
‘I got your gels!’ I shouted from her gates.

Then Popo came out, buttoning her shirt (sweat…) as she slowly made her way out to greet me. I gave her the Voren gels and she gave me her thanks.

I made my way back to my house and while unlocking the doors, I noticed a nest of white hair beyond my immediate neighbour’s wall, moving towards my house.

‘What’s up, Popo?’
She was still buttoning her shirt (sweat), smiling she said ‘I forgot to give you this.’

Kinda fond of this Popo now.

So how did neighbours get so cool?

And what happen if a proud person encounters another cocky btch?
Okay… suck it up.
There is a greater purpose behind all that.
